Discover horse breeds, care, history, and the remarkable partnership between horses and people

The Deep Dive

A Journey Through Saddles + Stallions

Step into the fascinating world of horses and discover the beauty, strength, and grace of these remarkable animals. In this engaging 20-lesson unit study, students will explore what makes horses so unique—from how they move and communicate to the many ways they live and work alongside people.

Along the way, they’ll learn about different horse breeds, discover how horses are cared for, and explore the environments where they live and thrive. Students will also uncover the many roles horses have played throughout history and the careers today that involve working with these incredible animals.

Each lesson encourages curiosity and discovery as students learn more about the habits, abilities, and characteristics that make horses such beloved and useful companions. Through engaging reading and hands-on activities, young learners will gain a deeper appreciation for these gentle and powerful creatures.

Rooted in a Christian worldview, this study also highlights the beauty and creativity of God’s design in the animal kingdom, encouraging students to recognize His handiwork throughout creation.

Whether your child already loves horses or is simply curious to learn more about them, this unit invites them to explore the wonder and wisdom found in the world of horses.
